emily and ross' baby girl, charloette elizabeth. she is soooo cute!! she has ross' expressions but emily's coloring. the kiddos and i went to have a play date and it was hilarious. cooper was concerned because there weren't 'boy' toys while paige touched charloette over and over while charloette 'cooed'. emily and i enjoyed our time together as we got to share 'momma' stories and how important it is to take time for ourselves every now and then!

braydon doane

braydon, doaner, b..whatever you like to call him! mo and robbie's lil boy is a doll!! paige and braydon are two months apart and let me tell you he is a kiddo that likes to eat! all the kids played together and cooper learned how to share toys with two babies...kind of. all in all, its so fun to watch mo and i's kiddos play together. it wasn't too long ago mo and i were kids riding around her miniature black truck rippin' up the gears!!

oh momma!

coop man, our dinosaur with a kitten's heart i like to say. as you can see from these pics, we are ALL personality! three years old is an interesting, yet beautiful age. it's the beginning of independence and exploration yet with ATTITUDE involved!! as i watch him, i love to absorb the moments of wonder and giggles while the challenging moments that test my patience i could spare occasionally! i was telling a friend that cooper is a very determined child with a gentle spirit. his determination is a challenge but i look forward to watching that determination play out as he grows older and becomes a man. underneath that determination lies a heart full of tenderness. that boy loves to be held and he loves to wake paige up in the morning, kisses her and calls her 'paigey louie'. i cherish these moments and these sounds as i know they will gradually turn into grunts and silence!! until then. let the cuddle time in the morning remain and let him call me 'adwenn' in that precious little deep voice of his all he wants!!!

hurricane ike

1. cooper wore his camo pajamas to 'hide' from ike. precious.
2. sooo, cooper has this tree at granny and grandpa's house that he likes to 'pee pee' on (thank you jeri) !! well, he was pretty concerned that the tree would not be there after the hurricane so we took a picture.

this is in the morning while in the 'eye' of ike. lil short bud! (don't know if this is blog appropriate??)

sooo, cooper has this 'cross' look he will give you when he's not happy. well, granny decided to massage that 'cross' look and it works!!! now, he will voluntarily ask for his 'cross' look to be massaged. precious.
